Virgin to launch mortgage range

Virgin Money has announced it's intention to release a mortgage range later this year.

The company, who are part of Richard Branson's Virgin Group, are expected to release a range of savings products this summer with their mortgage range following later in the year, funded by their deposits.

Although products will initially only be available directly, a spokesman for the company has admitted they will consider using brokers next year having acknowledged their importance as a key distribution channel.
